Hey Hillside! Have you ever wondered why we have a Builders Club? Have you ever thought about the purpose of Builders Club? We interviewed the Builders Club President, Noah Merrow, and he gave us information about this awesome program! In his own words, Merrow said,“It is a good feeling to be a part of something new, and it’s fun.”

Hillside’s Builders Club has about 60 student members and the advisors are Ms. Hartigan and Mrs. Michaud. The biggest purpose of Builders Club is being a community service club. Some of the organizations Builders Club has helped are the Make a Wish, New Horizon’s Food Pantry, Manchester Animal Shelter and Hillside Middle School. The Make a Wish program grants wishes to children with life threatening illnesses. New Horizons is a food pantry that people can get food and have a place to live if they have financial hardship. The Manchester Animal Shelter takes in homeless animals and abused animals in need of a home

The Builders Club has made thousands of dollars for these great organizations. Being a part of Builders Club is enjoyable because it makes people feel good, and it can be really exciting. It makes people feel good inside helping someone in need. Being involved with amazing actions that the Builders Club does, makes other people excited to help. The others being helped also feel good inside. Be sure to support the Builders Club band-aids and book drive that will support Children's Hospital at Dartmouth in the month of March!
