MANCHESTER – On August 13 at Jewett Street School, families are invited to join us for an in-person registration night and pop-up resource fair. Families can get help registering your student and also grab helpful information from community organizations.

District staff, including our bi-lingual family liaisons, will be on hand to help with registration. Free transportation will also be available to and from this event – the bus stops are posted below.

The pop-up resource fair, Wellness on Wheels, is organized by Makin' It Happen. Dozens of our partner organizations will be there to offer helpful information for families, as well as fun activities for kids.

Information on registration is listed below. Please note that you only need to register new students – any student who attended one of our schools last year is automatically enrolled for this year. If you are planning to register a student for kindergarten, please note that the child must be 5 by September 30 of this year.

Registration information

In order to register a new student, families will need to bring the following records:

  1. Child’s birth certificate

  2. Two (2) proofs of residence:

    1. Utility bill indicating legal residence (i.e. phone, cable, electricity, water)

    2. Lease agreement or rent receipt indicating landlord’s address and phone number

    3. Official letters from organizations such as the Manchester Housing Authority (Must be original letter on letterhead and signed by organizations representative.)

    4. Documentation of homeownership in the city of Manchester

  3. Child's last well child exam and immunizations records: Available from your doctor's office. Your child will also need to have a complete physical exam, or an appointment to have one, before starting school.
