Good Morning Future Hillside Students and Parents!

We can not believe the 2020/2021 school year has almost come to an end. We can not wait to meet you and will be sharing a virtual tour of our school soon :)

At Hillside we offer two foreign languages (Spanish and French). We also offer Band, Chorus, and Orchestra. We would like to know if you are interested in any of these course selections as we are currently starting our scheduling for next year.

Algebra Boot Camp (Remote/Online)


SUM + THING is coming Summer 2021…

What: SUMmer FUN Boot Camp for current MSD 8th and 9th Grade Algebra students

The Manchester School District and Southern New Hampshire University have partnered to offer a summer virtual boot camp to provide algebra enrichment for any interested students and families. In addition, interdisciplinary Problem Based Learning (PBL) Opportunities such as STEM challenges will be offered TOO!

Your students would work with SNHU faculty and Masters of Education Clinical Education Students. They will learn about your student in June with a survey or interview and then build lessons to meet each student’s enrichment needs. The program will offer engaging authentic problems to solve across content which your student can tackle alone or in small groups.

Where: Given current information, at this point in time the learning will be online with synchronous and asynchronous activities.

When: There are two sessions available:

Session A: 2 weeks – Monday through Thursday July 5th through July 15th

Session B: 2 weeks – Monday through Thursday July 19th through July 29th

Please note: Morning sessions Monday through Thursday each week are tentatively planned from 9:00 - Noon. Final times TBD based on registrations for each session.

*Athletes will get their temps checked every practice or game. *Coaches and athletes will need to be masked at all times.*Athletes will not be allowed to participate in any other sport while playing for the school team. This includes any sports training out of season. Violators will be removed from the team.

*Players should bring their own basketballs.*If an athlete has failed 2 or more classes they will not be allowed to participate in winter sports. *Student athletes will need to remain in remote learning until the season has been completed.

*Parents are not allowed into the schools at any time. No spectators. *The games will be filmed to watch on twitch.

All students must be cleared physically and academically before they can play their respective sport.
